These terms apply when you buy, install, or use Qubetex POS — including the website (qubetexpos.com), the desktop app, and the Android app on Google Play. By using the software you agree to the points below.
1. What you are buying
You receive a licence to use Qubetex POS for your shop. We remain the owner of the software itself. Your business data — products, sales, customers, stock, accounts — belongs to you, not to us.
2. Mobile app (Google Play)
- The Android app connects to our servers at qubetexpos.com to log in and sync sales, stock, and reports.
- A paid / licensed plan (or valid trial) may be required to use selling and other features, as shown in the app and on our pricing page.
- Optional permissions (camera, contacts, photos, biometrics) are described in our Privacy Policy and are used only for POS features you choose.
- You must keep your login secure. You are responsible for actions taken under your shop accounts and staff logins.
3. Your data is private — we do not sell it
We never sell your shop data to anyone. We do not share your customer lists, sales figures, or supplier details with advertisers, brokers, or other shops. Your information is used only to run the POS service you signed up for.
4. We do not use your data for our own benefit
We do not use your shop’s data for our own marketing, product development profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing and supporting your POS. We do not mine your sales to compete with you or to sell insights to third parties.
5. How your data is protected
- Each shop’s records are kept separate and isolated — other shops cannot see your data.
- Your login credentials are protected using strong, industry-standard security.
- Online / cloud plans include hosting on secure servers with regular backups.
- Offline desktop data stays on your own PC or Mac unless you choose a cloud/online plan.
- We apply standard security practices (HTTPS, access control, rate limits) to protect the service.

6. Acceptable use
You may use Qubetex POS for lawful retail and wholesale business. You must not attempt to break into other shops’ data, reverse-engineer the software to resell it as your own product, abuse the API, or use the service for fraud or illegal activity.
7. Pricing, payment & support
Prices shown on our website (or agreed with you on WhatsApp) apply at the time of purchase. Subscription or licence fees, where applicable, cover hosting, backups, and support as described for your plan. Google Play billing, if used for any in-app purchase, is also subject to Google’s payment terms.
8. Limitations
Qubetex POS is provided as business software. We are not responsible for loss caused by hardware failure, internet outages, OS problems, or misuse. We will help you recover from software issues within the scope of your plan’s support.
9. Changes
We may update these terms or pricing. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
